Heather Distelrath, MS, OTR/L

Assistant Faculty

Heather has practiced as an occupational therapist for over 15 years. Clinically, Professor Distelrath has practiced in adult acute care, inpatient rehab, community based traumatic brain injury as a Brain Injury Specialist, home health in a rural setting, outpatient pediatrics and school-based occupational therapy. She has previously served as a level 1 clinical instructor and a new graduate mentor. Her professional interests include palliative care, primary care and health care delivery systems. Personally, Prof. D enjoys coaching youth sports, currently soccer and volleyball, spending time with her three kids and husband, and traveling.
